Money is a funny thing don’t you think?
The Dalai Lama said:
“Man surprised me most about humanity. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”
That’s pretty profound don’t you think?
What does it really mean to “really live”?
For me it means exploring, having fun, doing the things I love to do… but that all costs M.O.N.E.Y!
Catch bloody 22
But is it?
Just how much money does it take to live a brilliant life?
I used to have a goal to make a million dollars, once I made a million I discovered it wasn’t enough, see I have come to think that you need cash flow just as much, if not more, than you need assets.
Unless you plan to retire on a beach and do sweet FA in which case you may well be in the wrong career amigo, retirement is for those people that want to die soon.
Anyhoo, back to cashola, how much daily money (cashflow) do you need to live a great life, well using me as an example lets see:
Neil’s Cash Flow Needs (includes Tash, Izzy & Charlotte as I’m the breadwinner of the fam)
- yoga/exercise 200

Ok so we have a yearly total of $209,600 per year
Now clearly we COULD spend more, but why? for a nicer watch? no, your list will be different but this is mine 🙂
So $209,600 per year is $17,466 a month or $574 a day.
Read that again, my perfect lifestyle costs a grand total of $574 a day!
Now, depending on where you’re at in life that’s either a shit load of cash or, like me, you’re thinking “is that all?”
Because my compadre 574 bucks a day is EASY to make online!
Remember my “how to buy a Porsche GT3 for $5000” post right?
Don’t believe me?
Ok here’s how it would look at a standard profit margin of 50%
I’d need to sell $1200 of products to make $574 in profit.
Figure the average price for a product of $30 ($20 – $30 is the sweet spot on most sites) that gives is 40 sales a day.
Want to know how to make 40 sales a day?
For that you’ll need to tune in to my next email 😉

$500… I have zero experience in setting up an online store, and plan to do something using Shopify and Alibaba and drop shipping.
Are we on the same page?
Hi Scott
Yep I like your idea and shopify is a great platform for this 🙂
