How To Add Roarlocal To Your Google AdWords & Analytics Accounts

Hello! A short (but hopefully very sweet) blog showing how to give us (and other users) access to your Google AdWords and Google Analytics accounts.

Google AdWords

1. Head to AdWords

2. Sign in to your account.

3. Go to the ‘My Account’ tab in the top green navigation bar, then select ‘Account Access’ from the dropdown menu.

4. Click on ‘Invite Other Users’.

5. Pop in their email address & name (ours is ROARlocal and adwords@roarlocal.com), and choose an Access Level. ‘Standard Access’ is the one to choose if you’d like them to be able to make alterations.

6. Then sit back & wait for them to approve the invite. You might want to give them a little nudge incase Google’s email has ended up in their junk mail or something. Once they’ve approved, you’re good to go!

Google Analytics

1. Head to Analytics

2. Sign in to your account

3. Don’t click on any of the websites listed. Instead, click on Admin in the top right of the page.

4. Then click on the right website.

5. Navigate to ‘Users’ in the top tab bar

6. Click ‘New User’ and add in all the relevant details:
(ours is ROARlocal and adwords@roarlocal.com)

Role: Administrator is the one to choose if you’d like them to be able to make alterations.

Tick ‘Notify this user by email’

7. Click ‘Add User’

8. Then sit back & wait for them to approve the invite. You might want to give them a little nudge incase Google’s email has ended up in their junk mail or something. Once they’ve approved, you’re good to go!
