Michael Oldroyd – Chief Marketing Officer
Mike brings a knowledge of business to business lead generation to ROARlocal. He’s has a background that encompasses over 15 years of technical sales and marketing roles in the IT industry having held business development, account manager and sales management roles for Impact Data, ProActive Services, Civica and Learning Tree international.
His exceptional sales career has mainly been with small organisations where there has often been little or no effective marketing activity. Therefore, in order to meet his personal and team targets, Mike taught himself a range of ‘low cost – no cost’ marketing, sales lead generation, business growth and profit making principles and strategies that create outstanding results.
These highly sought after tactics are not generally taught through traditional business education, or at business school, on marketing degrees or on any known MBA course. His expertise of scientific advertising methods can quickly bring more visitors to any business or website. He then uses conversion techniques so more of these visitors become profit making customers.
Michael now applies his strategies at ROARlocal and makes them freely available for our clients to benefit and profit from.
Nicola Cairncross – Head Of Operations
Twice published author, internet marketing veteran Nicola is ROARdigital’s COO and she personally ensures that all the ROARdigital clients are maximising the full potential of their business through digital marketing.
Nicola was shortlisted for a major Channel 4 series on entrepreneurs and has recently been screen tested for a new Sky One TV series. She is regularly featured in the press, radio and was a guest on CNN Breakfast News which was broadcast worldwide, invited to speak about the revolution in online marketing and e-commerce.

Patricia Godinho – Executive Assistant
With over 10 years experience as Personal Assistant to the CEO of a luxury holiday villa sales company in Portugal, Patricia brings a total passion for customer service and professionalism to her work with ROARdigital.
Patricia is the lynchpin (with Geraldine) making sure that clients of ROARdigital and the professionals working on their accounts are connected at all times.
Sue Okell – Head of Client Management
Sue is a rare breed of woman, she can get down and geeky with the best of them but can also translate geek speak into English!
Sue looks after the clients are ROARdigital she makes sure they have everything they need to grow their business and acts as the liaison between the the geeks and the clients.
However sue is also a very successful entrepreneur in her own right having built a communications company and other great businesses and helped many companies launch their new products to market.
Sue brings warmth and a steady hand to her work and she ensures that our clients business goals are turned into reality.
Libby Thomas – PPC Traffic Ninja
I’m a pay-per-click specialist. I have 7+ years of experience in the industry and I love it! I spent a lot of time working at Microsoft, in their Bing Ads team, looking after PPC accounts for some big brands including Thomson Holidays, Barclays and M&S.
I’ve also worked in a PPC agency and as a freelancer for small to medium businesses, so I know AdWords as well as Bing/Yahoo, and have helped businesses of all sizes from all industries to get really strong results. I also have my own retail business, a lovely copywriting partner and a very funny three year old.
Matt Cox – Head of Design
Matt is our Senior Designer and delivers amazing results across web and mobile every day of the week. He understands better than anyone how to design websites, microsites, banners, emails and mobile sites, so that they don’t only look great and provide a fantastic user experience, but also work as hard as they possibly can to achieve your targets too.
Ed Hadome – Coding Ninja
Ed loves getting his geek on. He’s who we call upon when we need something brilliant programming for one of our clients. No job is too big or too complicated for Ed and every now and again he kinda freaks us out as he talks in a strange binary code.
We think he sees the world through the matrix with those little green lines.
